hope your right just ordered a 15inch mackbook pro the other day.

my first mac too!

though i do agree in that the models in the shops now look better than before.

DHagan: For god's sake, man, don't buy a rev. A MBP! No wonder you are plagued with problems.

I myself have a C2D MBP and am loving it. No complaints besides the incredibly noisy breaking sounds when I insert or eject DVDs.

This machine runs very cool, and has excellent wireless reception... can't wait to migrate to 802.11n.

Even the somewhat feeble radeon x1600 does a solid job with Maya and games.
