Which Steve is a vegetation? Would he be the first plant to write a book?

Why? Jobs, when asked, didn't deny it.

Since you are so wise in these matters, surely you can tell us what *kind* of vegetation he is...a shrubbery, perhaps? A field of wildflowers? A window-box full of pansies?

Well, you read my posts on that already. I was in a hurry, and didn't re-read it first.

But, I'm on permanent vacation!

Sigh!

Ok guys! It's hardly worth this amount of discussion. I'm sure I'll make mistakes again.

Too bad the iPods are already white. . . I should just print in block letters THE BEATLES on my 3G.

IMHO, Beatles content exclusive to iTunes would seal the deal. iTunes would get mucho exposure, and the Zune... well, it wouldn't bode very well for the Zune at all. I feel like aging hipsters and baby boomers would actually buy a Beatles branded iPod as well. Really... this is good news for Apple.

This is all great, but this does nothing to actually put Led Zeppelin on iTunes

Yeah, maybe it'll catch on fire over the ocean, and the Led will be heavy enough to sink it.
