Agreed. And I read many rumours websites too. At the beginning he said he said something along the lines of having more announcements in the next few months, but that was when he was talking about Macs (felt like a whole minute ) . Apart from that it's often repeated that he said 3G was coming, but wifi-less iPods? Nope

I know it's not assured but I don't think it's too far off the mark to assume that some of those features will show up in other parts of the iPod line. A lot of times, design cues in a new Apple product eventually show up in other models, even in unrelated product lines.

I guess that's the crux here.
We ALL agree it's very likely. In fact, I think we all agree there WILL be other devices.

We just disagree on what Job's has actually said.

CNBC did an interview with Steve Jobs later in the afternoon after the keynote. I've heard it mentioned that youtube had it on, and a couple of Mac sites streamed it too. I don't remember which ones. I'm sure that a bit of Googleing could find it. Perhaps CNBC still has it available. It was widely blogged about that week.

There is no mention of other new products.
(okay, I admit I was running in and out of the room getting changed... but I heard nothing of that kind)

I doubt Steve did 2 cNBC spots. right?
