I just spilled water on my macbook pro screen today. I thought it was OK because it didnt seem to have gotten inside the computer, just on the outside but when I turned it on, the screen was three different variations of brightness. But it wasnt just three perfect sections, it was like three different layers of water puddles. thats what it looked like on my screen. The screen twitched a bit when i tried to use it but after a few minutes i turned it off for good. I am letting it sit on its side with the battery out. Nothing else seems to be the problem though I havnt looked under the keyboard but i assume its ok since every key worked. Is there any hope that the water will dry out from inside the screen and will look normal and will it stop twitching?
