USB Hub for iMac

My iMac has 3 USB ports. After plugging in a keyboard, that's not enough for all of the peripherals I have. However, I can't find a USB hub that provides enough power for TV Micro, iPod, card readers, etc.

What would you recommend?

You need a powered USB hub, one that comes with a little power brick.

I've tried some power hubs without luck. Has anyone had success with any specific brand or are they all the same?
