MY iPHONE DIED!!!

Just two days of use and it's dead.

I waited 3 hours in 102 degrees on Friday, brought it home, activated without a glitch on Saturday night. Then was showing it off at work today and after about an hour, it died. All I get is a white blank screen. Tried resetting etc nothing. Immediately took it back to the apple store. They tried their magic and still nothing.

So, The said they will replace the phone but they don't have any in stock. They'll replace it as soon as they get an 8 gigger in stock, which might be weeks.

Luckily AT&T was able to issue me a new SIM card, which I used to reactivate my old phone and keep the number.

So, here's my SOB story. I guess I am paying for buying a first gen product.

Am I the very first person to find a defective phone?
