Just found this amazing site food for design which highlights the links between natural patterns and well...design...

My favourites are the videos which show the patterns created by exposing ferrofluids to magnetic forces, creating really weird pseudo-animations.

Great fascinating stuff!

But i'll diverge a little secret - this looks like a collection of stuff taken from New Scientist, seen pretty much all of that since i've been subscribing for a year or so. Buy hey, thats why I subscribe
