okay, this might be a "Genius Bar" thread -- mod, feel free to move it if you think it deserves to be there instead.
my question: remember when the "classic" system preference had an option to "hide during startup"? well, i have not seen that toggle checkbox since 10.1 (10.0.x and previous all had it). am i doing something wrong? i have classic set to launch at startup so there's little lag if i accidentally launch a classic app, but i hate having to manually hide/minimize the launch window each time.
anyone else notice this? i have installed 10.1 (the full version, not upgrade onto 10.0.x) on my g4 500 dvd at work, my imac dv se 400 and pismo 500 dvd, and the option is gone on ALL of them... hmmm... <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

When you're lovers in a dangerous time,
You're made to feel as if your love's a crime.
Nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight.
Gotta kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight.

). There has to be a way of eliminating the startup window thingy using the Terminal though. If I can make my Dock transparent and chance the color of the app triangles with a Terminal script, surely someone must know a way to disable to window you're talking about during Classic startup....
