O2 says iPhone sales meet expectations, where 'expectations' is a few hundred thousand by New Year, as Key said earlier.

75% of buyers are new to O2.

O2 are announcing it as 200,000 units in the UK.

The interesting part is that iPhone users are using mobile data a lot more than users of other devices.

That's what O2 have been saying since launch. 200,000 is a bit lame IMHO.

200K is respectable, considering the rival products are given away for nothing.

The elephant that has 10 million sales by 2008 written on it. It's hiding behind the gorilla that bashes you for suggesting the iPhone is overpriced.

Oh that Elephant!

Those figures would suggest 2-3 million sales in Europe by the end of 2008. Probably a little more in North America.

Yes, that would mean Apple will need to get their skates on to make up the difference in Asia! 7-8 Million seems more realistic.
