iPod Nano screen issues

Hi- My iPod nano's screen just broke. the display looks like this:

I don't no weather it's broken, or just needs a restore, or what i can do. Can someone help?

That's broken, in the way that small LCDs break when they're stepped on (or otherwise crushed).

I don't think the warrantee is going to cover this-- you're probably just going to have to bite the bullet and get a new one, unless you can find a really softhearted Apple employee.....

True. Apple warranties only cover defects that are the fault of Apple, a broken LCD or other mistreatment of a device isn't really Apple's fault, so they don't pay for the repair for you.
