iPhone have Skyhook pointed in right direction

Information about the company that offers wireless location information for the iPhone and iPod Touch. One of the service owners says GPS works better when the device has a clear line of site to open sky. Skyhook works well indoors and in crowded urban areas.

The article also states that Apple is paying SkyHook a royalty for each iPhone and iPod Touch unit sold. The money Apple gets from subscription fees and the $20 from Touch owners is going to pay for such service.
