Have any of you tried running Jaguar 10.2 on a powerbook lombard G3? If so, how does it run?

much better now.

I used to run 10.1.5 on one with 192 MB of ram (it had 400 MHz) and I thought it was a bit painful. Jaguar must be a lot better. And of course, the more RAM you have the better it surely will be. I'd say give it a try.

I just see that the original post was from september or some such date. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Have you run any type of OS X on that machine?

There is a problem with some Lombards that makes OS X very unstable on them. Just a warning. Jaguar should run decently if you got one of the machines that were spared the hardware bug.

I have Jag running on a G3 266 Powerbook, the Wallstreet model. I used to have 128 megs of RAM, but added some to bring it up to 192. Much much better. I can't complain none.

According to the grape wine your Powerbook should get a boost with 10.2.4

That would be awesome. Any improvement is a bonus. And what gravevine did you read to get this little tidbit?
