Fixing Stuck Pixels

Has anybody had any joy with fixing stuck pixels?

I've found a couple of tools that use the alternating colour flash method and am trying it every few hours but wondered if I was wasting my time.

Barely noticeable single red pixel on a 5 month old 20" glossy iMac

I just went through this with my new iPhone (2 red pixels). The fixes only worked for a very short time and soon, they came back and stayed. Luckily, I was within warranty so I got it replaced. The Genius said it would have to be replaced and couldn't be fixed. Sorry.

I was thinking of just waiting it out and seeing if anymore appeared or got worse.

Either it'll become really annoying or I'll address the issue before my Applecare expires - which should be upgrade time
