I'm sure that's great for some people, but I want an Air with less there. Having the optical drive external rather than internal is fantastic. I like that the RAM is integrated, as it keeps the cost, size, and weight down and reliability up. The next step, as flash prices drop, will be to integrated the SDD on the motherboard. That will allow future Airs to be thinner, lighter, cheaper, and more reliable. In a few years, we could have a MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of flash integrated on the motherboard. It could be thinner and lighter than the current MacBook Air.
