I like Richardson. I said early on that I would support him for president if I had to vote for a Democrat. That doesn't put him above the law. If the new guys are promising reform, we should have a trail of grand juries, informants and questionable deals following them into office and various positions.

Skin color?

Please explain.

I voted for the smart person.

I like Ike.

WTF does that have to do with the price of tea in China.

Get past the MSM rumormongering machine.

If I were on that grand jury, I would ask but one question.

That one question would be something like:

How exactly, was Richardson involved directly in the procedural order of the awarding of the contract, in and of itself.

In other words, did Richardson directly influence the contract process, in and of itself.

If New Mexico contracting procedures are anything like the federal government, i. e. an open advertised competitive process, then there are built in firewalls between the contracting office, the bidders, and the awarder of said contract.

There are strict audit trail requirements.

Been there, done that.

Cut to the chase, forgo all the innuendo.

FAR - (Federal Acquisition Regulations): The acquisition regulations used by all federal agencies. Contains regulations and clauses that are in the contracts. Most agencies have FAR regulation supplements that can add to the FAR but may not conflict with it. The Corps of Engineers has the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), Army Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (AFARS), and Engineer Federal Acquisition Supplement (EFARS) in addition to the FAR. This FAR, along with the various supplements guides and directs contracting procedures.

There are four levels of FAR where I worked, the USACE.

DAY TWENTY SIX: RAHM STILL 'SUR-OMNIBUS'

CONSERVATIVE BLOGS 'NONPLUSSED'

"It makes no sense. Reality is simply refusing to bend to our evil wills," said Terrance Lostit of A World Without Stupid Frigging Liberals (aworldwithoutstupidfrigginglliberals.com).

Nick 'trumptman' Surname-Goes-Here of New Red Majority added: "When an organization avoids doing their job because they decide to inform their stupid readers which stories they have think are most important for fulfilling their agenda while ignoring actual news and information the readers feel is important, they will continue to bleed red ink. The media should inform, not dictate."

Did Rahm come back from Africa yet?

I'm sure the investigation can move back to the front burner when he is back in the country. Maybe he'll be back for the inaugeration?

Meanwhile the guy is issuing press releases from another continent and this is proof he is all in the clear.

Hilarious. Enjoy your caricatures. They are your little mental dolls. You can put them away when you want to think with the adults.

Rahm will be thrown under the bus on January 2, 2008.

He's resigning.

BREAKING: CONSERVATIVE BLOGS 'TO ABANDON MEME'

In the face of general disinterest from the voting public and the untractability of 'ungracious and stubborn' facts, conservative blogs appear to be 'bored' of Obama 'throwing Rahm under the bus'.

"This just demonstrates, again, Obama's disregard for facts," said someone who writes on a blog. "Facts have been ours since the Republican party was founded with the aim of abolishing the lynching of negroes and bringing gas lights to the rural mid-West," he added.

Said blogger: "I'm sure that when people voted fo' Barack, they sho' didn't be expectin' him to give facts such short shriftifyin', no sir. I always speak like this, and if I didn't it's Obamee's fault that I do now, yessum."

MORE NEWS AS IT COMES IN.

Sheesh, look at that guy speaking ebonics. I'm sure it is supposed to be humor to make a point but Franksargent has assured me that anytime a non-black person imitates a black person, it is racist and a form of blackface. I could consider that whole context bit, but he has assured me by repeating it five times that blackface is blackface.

BTW, Hassan, your sig would be funnier if you put the word Rahm under the word bus.

Well forgive me if I'm, wrong but it would seem from what I'm reading this is a nonstory.

Quote:
Blagojevich investigators met with Obama
Interviews were disclosed Tuesday in report on contacts with governor

From that article :
Quote:
"We are satisfied there was nothing inappropriate that took place here, either in terms of conversations or communications or contacts, between transition officials and the governor's office," Craig said after releasing the report.

'Appropriate and acceptable'
Emanuel was the only Obama transition team member who discussed the Senate appointment with Blagojevich, and those conversations were "totally appropriate and acceptable," Craig said Tuesday. No one on Obama's transition team discussed any deals or had any knowledge of deals, Craig's report said.

So why would Obama throw this guy under a bus, minivan, SUV, or other large vehicle?

Because this might be an embarassment? Doesn't sound like the case.

They might still be investigating Blagojevich but as far as this goes it sounds like a done deal.

Blacks can do blackface too.

Whites can do whiteface too.

Anyface is anyface.

Note: I have not used the words racist or racism, until now, at least I don't think I have, with respect to Barack The Magic Negro, that is. I am just the finder of fact.

As usual, steadying words from the Sorry About Being So Liberal Blog at a Major US Media Outlet:

Quote:
Remember: It's not the lack of lying, it's the non-coverup.

Mr. Obama must apologize to the American people for failing to be more candid about not being a party to a perfectly serviceable scandal that a lot of hard working bloggers and their liberal media enablers spent a lot of time crafting. If this is a harbinger of the man's administration, one wonders what other faux pas, gates, sinister plots and outright fraud he'll fail to participate in, cynically dashing the expectations of the very Americans who have selflessly hated him since he announced his candidacy.

If Mr. Obama is sincere in his oft-claimed goal of putting millions of Americans back to work, can he really afford to ignore our vital bitter rumor mongering industry? Most economists attribute the "Clinton boom" to a vibrant growth in just this sector; refusing to engage the vast right wing conspiracy industry at this critical juncture could prove to be a critical miscalculation, crippling his plans for a violent Negro uprising before they can even properly begin.

And if the violent Negro uprising is a non-starter, whither the socialist death camps, introduction of Shaira law, nationalization of NASCAR and other key parts of Mr. Obama's ambitious first term agenda? Some commentators have already begun to whisper despairingly of non-impeachment.

Can America really afford such a lack of high drama, in the midst of the worst economic downturn in the last 50 years?

For the want of a nail, Mr. President Elect. Gabba gabba hey.

No, that's not how you stated it above. So clearly you do not understand the basic point, which is;

Anyface is anyface.

Why are you so upset by this very basic fact?

Call it what it is, unless of course, you are just afraid to admit it is so, and if so, why?

Is this what passes the PC smell test for conservatives?

I asked what racial archetypes he dealt in.

We all understand that anyone can deal in racial archetypes. I asked quite clearly and you have ducked quite clear, the question of what racial archetypes he is reinforcing with his portrayal. We understand that in addition to parodying white men, he also parodies women, black men, you name it. You contend that his impression isn't just Al Sharpton but qualifies as performing in blackface. The factor that determines that is dealing in racial archetypes. You won't name them.

For the 3rd time ...

Replacing "th" with "d" is a racial stereotype.

I just have to prove a single thing for it to be true. It's right there in the song.

Al Sharpton is an African American. The race of the singer is irrelevant.

One person who impersonates another person's stereotype is stereotyping.

Jesse Jackson impersonating Al Sharpton would be considered blackface.

Frank impersonating Nick would be considered whiteface (I'll assume so for the purposes of this discussion).

Anyone who impersonates anyone is assuming that individual's "face".

The face being imitated in this case happens to be black, ergo ipso facto blackface.

And it would appear that the official RNC response happens to agree with me.

You can now proceed with proving a negative.

In otherwords, you got nothing and so you redefine the terms to your own choosing.

Enjoy being convincing with that. Your own cited source doesn't agree with you but it doesn't matter because repetition makes it right.

I won't repeat the quote from my own link that does agree with these very standard definitions.

Anyone impersonating a black person is engaging in blackface.

By it's very definition, as I've already cited in the other thread.

The RNC official response happens to agree with me, so my understanding of blackface would appear to be accurate, according to the RNC at least.

Take it up with the RNC, I've stated the facts as they are commonly understood and accepted.

As the finder of fact, I rest my case.

DAY FOUR HUNDRED AND EIGHTY: RAHM "STILL IN AFRICA, NOT UNDER BUS."

Wrote Chip Gruesome of FutureRedNation.com:

"No, 'Rahm' (if that is his name) still is not under an American bus. But is there not something suspicious in him taking his 'family' on 'holiday' to 'Africa'? It is inconceivable, surely, that an utterly innocent man who has done nothing wrong could want to go on holiday somewhere sunny with his wife and children for the sake of seeing some elephants and giraffes. Some magical negroes, perhaps.

“For all we know he is in a jail in Angola having been busted smuggling blood diamonds over the border into Namibia having sewn packets of precious stones into the very skin of his own ‘children’, or mules he has stolen from an orphanage and caused to be addicted to heroin. If not, it is perfectly possible that Barack Al-Jihadii Obama has sent his sinister agents to Africa to throw him under an African bus, away from the righteous gaze of conservative blogs.

“Rahm should die. When George Bush packs the judiciary with political appointees through corrupt process everyone wants blood. But Rahm may (or may not) have made a telephone call to someone later implicated in a scandal! And the only people baying for blood are disinterested conservative blogs like this one!

"What repellent double standards. Obama may be Rahm in a negro suit. How do we know? We must kill them both to be sure."
Oh where, oh where has our little Rahm gone
Oh where, oh where can he be
With his ears cut short and his tail cut long
Oh where, oh where can he be?

Obama had him on a leash, but he got away, and was last seen chasing the bus.

Nick. Just as we know, what phase of the bus throwing are we at now?

Is Rahm approaching the pedestrian crossing, talking on his mobile phone, laughing, unaware of the large London double-decker careering towards him? Or is he weeping and screaming, his arms and legs held by large, fat men in grey gym sweats with O on the breast while Obama revs the engine of the luxury team coach, adjusting the the crosshair on the windscreen?

What stage are we at now? How long will this damn bus be?

It took a year with Wright because that was the Clinton campaign finally made a stink about it and the media reported it. With no one in town and nothing but the inaugeration being reported when they do return, I suspect that this won't get any traction until after then at best. Obama knows how to handle the media. As I said, he got the report, leaked his version of events to THIS WEEK for George to spit out there on Sunday, held it for three days and released it on Christmas Eve while sending Rahm off to Africa.

I'll look forward to your future satire blog posts though. You've posted more frequently than I have at my actual blog lately. I love satire though and what you have done is very cute.

Ah, yes, 'sending Rahm off to Africa', with his family, on a pre-booked family holiday. When he ought to have stayed in America defending himself from ... something that wasn't news in the first place. It's almost as sinister as Obama's 'vacation' in 'Hawaii'.

THESE PEOPLE ARE SHAMELESS.

So... the reason it hasn't been in the news is not because there's absolutely nothing newsworthy in it. It's not because it's a non-scandal confected from speculation and wishful thinking in conservative blogs.

It's because... er... the entire political world has given up on politics and no-one's interested in news anymore.

Cool, it's now a matter of "getting to" Rahm, in somebody's checklist of Obama admin indictees.

And, it follows, could we really expect them to get to Nancy Pelosi before they get to Rahm? Or Clinton before Pelosi? Or the DNC before Clinton?

The entire, illegitimate and quite possibly criminal edifice of the so called "Democratic Party" stands, at the moment, as unindicted coconspirators, a status I would expect them to maintain for the next four years.

And the liberal media will fail to point this out! On account of the liberalness!

As you say, they haven't formally indicted Blagojevich yet. As far as I can tell from reading the 'news', Rod seems to have offered a vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder and seems to have been recorded talking about it.

And... Rahm seems to have spoken to him on the telephone in the course of the duties he is paid to perform and...

...this isn't scandalous, and this isn't news, and he's not going to be thrown under the bus. Is he.
