More like shouldn't something new act different instead of merely having a different skin color?
I like Richardson. I said early on that I would support him for president if I had to vote for a Democrat. That doesn't put him above the law. If the new guys are promising reform, we should have a trail of grand juries, informants and questionable deals following them into office and various positions.
I voted for the smart person.
I like Ike.
WTF does that have to do with the price of tea in China.
Get past the MSM rumormongering machine.
If I were on that grand jury, I would ask but one question.
That one question would be something like:
How exactly, was Richardson involved directly in the procedural order of the awarding of the contract, in and of itself.
In other words, did Richardson directly influence the contract process, in and of itself.
If New Mexico contracting procedures are anything like the federal government, i. e. an open advertised competitive process, then there are built in firewalls between the contracting office, the bidders, and the awarder of said contract.
There are strict audit trail requirements.
Been there, done that.
Cut to the chase, forgo all the innuendo.
There are four levels of FAR where I worked, the USACE.
