How do you get the iPhone to sync applications?

Hi all,

Here's another iPhone problem that I've already Googled to try and find a solution to. My iPhone is up to date, and it syncs everything bar applications, even though I have selected to sync them. How do I make it actually sync the apps I've download in iTunes to the iPhone?

In iTunes, plug in your iPhone, select it in the left sidebar and do this in the Applications tab.

Hi I've already done that but it just skips right past the syncing applications part. It syncronises everything else just fine.

There is also a 'Transfer Purchases from Phone' selection, under 'File' in iTunes.

This makes it sync them.

I've found out why iTunes wouldn't sync any apps. It was because my computer hadn't been austhorised. I wish it had told me this instead of just letting me sit there scratching my head!
