Jett Travolta son of John Travolta Dies

Outliving your child is a parents worst nightmare. No words can express what any parent who's gone through this is feeling.

Very sad, but very unlikely related to Kawasaki disease. From what I have read, Kawasaki primarily is found in Japan and almost exclusively affects very young children. Symptom presenting in teens is almost unheard of. I also can't find any reference to it causing seizures, other than at sites referencing Travolta.

There is a strong suspicion that Jett was severely autistic but that his parents rejected both the diagnosis and the treatment because of their beliefs. Apparently, he travelled with two full time nannies, had a baby monitor in his room and had very little speech capabilities. Perhaps, if he did have a seizure, it was more likely related to a neurological condition than to a case of teenage Kawasaki disease. Also strange are the reports of how long between him leaving dinner to visit the bathroom in the evening and next being found in the bathroom in the morning.

Or maybe he slipped on some water on the bathroom floor and hit his head on the toilet. Just as likely as any other claim right now.

Maybe it was suicide brought about by depression from having such a ridiculous name.

Its like me naming my kid "wheels" just because I love BMW's.

I participated in an autopsy of a 6y little girl who had fever
Rash parents thought it was measles or some other virus
Well she died of complications of coronary vasculitis ---
Kawasaki disease. I'll never forget looking at the micro
Scopic slides and seeing that little face she was Caucasian
And we were in Chicago weird disease
Wonder if the seizure they talk
About was from a vasculitis
Just terrible. I can't imagine the pain that family
Is in
