Couldn't resist, from the macrumors forum,

Veet is a hair removal product.
From the daily Telegraph Australia.

Priceless.

HERMAN: Any tears shed on the plane by anybody?

GONZALES: By me, yeah. There were a few.

HERMAN: Why?

GONZALES: Just pride. Just love and appreciation for the man and what he did, Ken. I feel — being on this trip did a lot for me, in terms of just making me realize — it was a small part, but I played a part in protecting our country, and I take a great deal of pride in that.

Video.

Also, Fox News was the only network to carry a live telecast of Bush's homecoming in Midland, TX.

In the segment I saw that was the idea.

I wonder if we should start the official "Countdown till Bush is photographed drunk on his ass in public" thread?

I'm a recovering alcoholic, I do not wish the man ill on this count. But I've seen more than a few incidents over the last few years that make me strongly suspect Bush has been drinking.

He's got an entire retinue that can make sure that this doesn't become too obvious; that retinue is about to be sharply reduced (although I imagine there will be a certain amount of Secret Service nanny duty till the day he dies, to spare the country the horror of seeing an ex-president shit-faced).

But Bush has exactly the justification a drunk needs to tell everybody to go fuck themselves-- he's "retiring" after "hard work" that "nobody gave him credit for." Everybody hates him, even though all he's ever done is try to help everybody out. He doesn't have to work another day in his life. He's "earned it." And he's got a drunk's pissy self-righteousness to fuel him.

Like I say, been there, I hope he hasn't been or doesn't start drinking again, but stuff like the astonishingly inappropriate "I think I'll give the Chancellor of Germany a little back rub" is exactly what somebody who's a little lit thinks is funny or a good idea.

And a drunk doesn't drink a little or once in a while. They're either drinking or not.

So we'll see.

This is just too funny for words:

Economy
Thanks to Republican economic policies, the U.S. economy is robust and job creation is strong.

Republican tax cuts are creating jobs and continuing to strengthen the economy, yet there is still more to do so that every American who wants a job can find one.

Unbelievable that no one has pointed out to the NRCC that they appear to be living in an alternate reality.

Who would point it out? LIberals? The Liberal Media? RINOs? Marginal putative "Republicans" who have drunk the koolaid and can no longer be trusted? Liberal RINO untrustworthy koolaid drinkers in the media who shoot bees out of their mouths?

The trouble with going all in with the autistic bubble theory of reality is that it makes it really hard to take constructive criticism, since everyone in the bubble agrees that anything like that is an evil lie.

And since the people in the bubble have, additionally, long since jettisoned the legitimacy of "evidence", "logic" and "proof" in favor of "belief systems", there is literally no way to make the case.

President Bush did a heck of a job. Our problems are the fault of the mainstream media and others on the left. In 4 years folks will be begging Sara Palin to save them from socialism, terrorists, illegal aliens, Europeans and NPR.

Quoting Fox News: "A terrorist handshake?"

http://www.boston.com/news/politics/..._campaign=8315

Scroll down to the question, "What was your last assignment?"

Your = the possessive of you, as in, "Your name is Tom, right?" or "What is your name?"

You're = a contraction of YOU + ARE as in, "You are right" --> "You're right."
