Go after Kindle business

I have been wondering out loud why Apple does not go after Kindle Business with a larger than phone device? Would it be nice to have an Apple device the size of the Kindle with better features. Obviously, Apple has the technological know-how and could hopefully develop a better screen and methods of navigating the device. It would give Apple another device to introduce... I use the Kindle feature on the iphone but there is so much more that would be possible. Additionally, the books could be loaded on Itunes or wirelessly............. THoughts?

Because as Steve Jobs says "People don't read books anymore"
He's a mod so he has a few extra vBulletin privileges. That doesn't mean he should stop posting or should start acting like Digital Jesus.

Something like iPhone but larger would be nice for many things. Whether Apple thinks there is a sufficient market for something like that is probably the big question.
