Cracks in brand new iPhone 3GS - Will they replace it despite slight drop?
Sorry if this question has been asked millions of times, I just wanted some opinions before I walk into the apple store and get told NO WAY.
I'm in the UK and I got my iPhone on Wednesday, so I haven't even had it a week yet. In that time I have kept my iPhone in it's sock permanently except for maybe the first 10 minutes I had the phone.
I wont lie, I dropped it taking it out of the box. The bottom has sort of chipped on the edge slightly so you can tell on inspection it has been dropped, this wouldn't bother me since I'm not ridiculously anal over keeping my iPhone in perfect condition because it's a phone and I'm going to use it everyday so It's going to get a couple of war wounds, but I am bothered about the grey crack showing on the back of my white case already.
Do you think maybe they would replace it still? Despite the drop? I wouldn't care if it wasn't brand-fricking-new. Also, if not (which is most likely) do cracks spread? Is there any way specifically for me to make sure the cracks don't get worse?
I can provide pictures of any damage if anyone wants to see what i'm talking about.
