Espresso vs. Coda for speed

I purchased Coda some time ago and have had some frustration working with it. Basically, the program hangs for quite a while when loading the syntax highlights which happens every time I open a file. This is especially annoying when opening a larger .css or .php file.

Does this problem exist in Espresso as well?

Thanks!

All I know is that Espresso is full of bugs. So, what do you prefer...hangs or crashes?

Espresso was clearly rushed out the door for MacHeist 3.

I love Coda! Especially the ability to have the preview pane open right next to the coding pain. I have a 25" wide screen which gives me enough reaestate to be able to see both with plenty of room.

Also, Panic (The Developers of Coda) are always releasing updates and are very active with their twitter account and quick to respond to bugs, issues and distress calls.
