Help with video's

Hello there



I have just got my iphone 3gs and am having problems getting DVD's onto it. I have a large collection of DVD's and want to play them on my phone. Here are the steps I take:



1) use iskysoft DVD ripper to load the DVD. I choose iphone mp4 as the output file type.



2) drag the movie into itunes. It loads it up and it plays flawlessly in itunes.



3) sync my phone.



The result: The movie is on my phone, but it gets green bars all around it and skips and jitters like my phone does not have enough memory or something.



Someone please tell me what I am doing incorrect.

    I recommend using Handbrake. It's free, has a lot of options for tweaking & compressing & it has

    a version for the mac. I've had no problems using it.
