Buy now or wait?

Hi,

ive got an old 7300 with G3 400 Card, 160mb ram, voodoo3, 4gb harddrive. So i need an new PowerMac.



Its runnig well, but PS is so slow and the loading time of games is ****ing long.



What do you think is better, wait to the G5 or to the speedbumped G4?

    Well if it was me I would wait until a Ghz machine came out, or a Apollo.

    You know those whiners that come out each time a Mac gets updated complaining they wouldn't have ordered the week before if they knew something new was coming.

    The longer you wait the better your new Mac is likely to be.

    My point is he would've known to wait by reading any of these threads. Most of us are waiting, so if he has to ask, then the power isn't as important to him as it is to us and therefore he should be now.

    yes, but if he waits he will get a price reduction on the old systems... Thats what I would do....

    I know of a few people that are grabbing 867's after the new PowerMacs are released. (speed bumped G4, G5, whatever...)



    A kick ass Mac for most people's needs, and bound to be a much better deal very soon.
