MICE!

Godammit! I was up all freakin' night...had a mouse problem a month ago and it seemed all of them were gone. Uh, uh. Now they're back, totally ignoring the traps I set, running aimlessly around, making noise and shitting all over the place.

I called an exterminator (the one the apartment associates with is a nimrod) and hopefully they can get rid of these frickin' pests. Mice aren't cute, pets or otherwise...I see another one and I'll smash it or set the sucker on fire.

I find the back of a shovel is the best thing for getting rid of mice.

    These traps were great...

Killed about six the last time...kinda cool to see the legs and tail sticking out like stiff needles the next day.

But it seems that these new mice are familiar with these. For over a week they haven't touch them or the sticky traps (which are even more inhumane )

Anyone ever tried those sonic frequency traps?

maybe you could borrow a friends cat...

    unless you're allergic...

    Try this:

Cut the top of off a big plastic Coke® bottle, put some cheese in the bottom and tape the top back on but the wrong way round. The mice can get in but can't get back out.

    J

PS Be sure to take the screwtop of of the bottle or the mice won't get in!

Maybe a cat will scare them off?

Or how about an electrical shocker trap?

I had thought of this since there is a girl here that has four...but she's very protective of them since the last exterminator dropped poison in the basement area. That used to be the cat's favorite place.

She also told me that the cats did grab some mice but she would capture the mice and "take them outside"...uuuh, that ain't going to eradicate this problem dear...

I don't know...the exterminator was going to be here at 12:00 noon...but he just called and said he won't be here 'til 5:00 PM...looks like I'll have to crash out at a friends house tonight...

Sounds like a job for the Three Stooges. Make sure you have a formal, black-tie party going on when you schedule their appointment.

They work more efficently if they can hit guests in the foot with a hammer accidently or fling a mouse down the back of some chick's dress.

Just make sure you have plenty of cream-filled pies sitting around too, because they play a crucial role in the process.

Maybe dress them up with little turbans and beards...then I'll call Special Forces teams to search and destroy...

Well, the exterminator came and dropped tons of mice poison pellets in the basement, behind my stove and around the place. Plus some sticky traps.

I went out. Got stupidly drunk and crashed out at a girlfriends house....came back this afternoon and nothing seems to have happened...maybe a good sign...if not I'm getting a new apartment.... <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

Get an ultrasonic pest repeller/ Cheap, effective, and you don't have to clean up bloody messes... they just go away. But these things drive away pets too...

That'll be my next alternative. So far the mice keep coming, but as the exterminator said; "when their turds start changing to a pink or biege color, that means they are injesting the pellets and they start dropping like flies."

Well, that's happening but they were all over my computer, cords and keyboard last night. That did it...I went and got steel wool and stuffed it into all the holes and cracks behind the stove and refrigerator. That is one of the only materials they can't stand to chew into.

Now, the only way they could get in is through the space under the door. Didn't get the time to get a door slip today, but maybe I'll get one tomorrow. I'll lay all the sticky traps across before going to bed tonight.

I got to get some sleeep....thanks for all the help people...

You are right, I also hate rats as they damage all the things which are opened and leaved as. The best way of get rid of this problem is to simply consult to the pest control expert as they guide in more effective and speedy way to get out this bull shit problem.
