i would sue the government, my parents, society in general as well. You really need to kill off the excessive lawyers in the us.

In the broader scheme of things why would someone trying to woo employers bring attention to themselves over a botched job search that leads the job seeker to sue their own school. Not hirin' material.
Of course the complaint is that the placement office hasn't done enough. Which may or may not be true.
Often that seems true to the parents, but then they don't know what opportunities were presented to the student that were not taken advantage of by same...

She could argue that she never received one.
I don't think the lawsuit would have any merit. Most likely, the school is not contractually obligated to even HELP her find a job (much less actually get one). It's a service they happen to provide. So, the question of whether or not the career center "did enough" is really irrelevant as far as I can tell.
