So, anyone else gonna be up at 6 in the morning in front of a store?

Lots of price chopping this year, Virgin is chopping off 30% off everything apparently including PS2 systems with an Amex Blue card. Wish I had one of those cards.

My plan was to be done with Christmas shopping by Halloween. I couldn't get anyone to tell me what they wanted, though, and just figured it out.

So I'm going to go tomorrow morning to downtown Nashua (next town over) to the Rockingham Mall. It will be packed, unfortunately, because it's right on the Massachusetts border (literally) and there is no sales tax up here in New Hampshire. D'oh!

Well I'll probably be at the mall here (Palisades Center) tomorrow night, but I usually am on Fridays so it's not a big deal but no I won't be going extra early to do holiday shopping.

Do what I did last year.

Go shopping on Tuesday or Wednesday next week...nobody (at least en mass) was around, the shelves were re-stocked and I got shopping done with about a month to chill and wrap presents.

    I worked in retail...I know...

I know people though who did it all in August...

Anyone who goes to the mall the day after Thanksgiving is borderline insane.

My wife was up early and hitting the stores. This was unusual for her, as she says she does her best sleeping in the early morning, and usually stays in bed as later than normal on weekends. I am an early riser, sometimes up at 4 AM because I can't get back to sleep. So on "Black Friday".... yep, you guessed it, I slept later than usual.
