Like in the other Android v iPhone threads, it's is pretty cut and dry. If your life is on Google services and you love Google, an Android phone is likely the better choice. Otherwise, an iPhone will be better in all other respects.
If you are a tweaker or tinkerer and love to mess around with the operating system or have philosophical beliefs in favor of OSS, Android would be a better fit. Even Windows Mobile could be a better fit. If you're a consumer and just want to use the device, the iPhone would bf better fit. However, a jailbroken iPhone will likely be just as much fun. So really, it's philosophical preference.
The iPhone is simply the most useful and enjoyable device for the vast majority of consumers out there. Android doesn't come close really, but it does have its niche of uses that some people would prefer.
