Censorship on the boards

It seems that it's illegal to mention the name of another website on these boards. I find that really pathetic. Until the situation changes, I'm outta here.

Unless you mentioned the sites *warning: pornography* <a href="http://www.ultrapassword.com/"; target="_blank">http://www.ultrpassword.com/</a>; or something similar. yeah, combine smut with quasi-legal password sharing!

    we don't do that...

if you're referencing the slew of recently locked threads in FH.. that's because they're redundant. We don't need threads discussing everyone's different takes on the G5 or iMac, just a few on the G5 or iMac itself.

That was in the dark ages of AI. Now that Monish is taking a less active role the AI team has obviously lightened up.

Any thread with the title of a competing web site that I've seen has been locked. You claim it's because there are already other threads discussing the same thing, yet junkyard dawg can make 10 different threads practicing his rumor fiction and none of them are locked. I don't believe you. You're saying this Monish character isn't being as active, yet you have to clear every news post with him. I think you're under strict orders to sink threads that overtly promote other sites. You've only been open a week and the pattern has shown itself already. Sorry to come off as a jerk, but that's my opinion.

    What's so wrong with macmonkey?

They run on a spherical server disguised as large apple with 3 agp slots and 9.5 pci slots. It is heresy.

I kinda dig censorship. Needs to be used a bit more often.
