Hard Drive Losing Space

I have a 80gb HD in my intel macbook pro.

I received a msg. that said I was running low on space.

a few weeks ago I checked and I had 16gb free.

When I checked now, I was down to less than 500mb.



I moved some data to external drives which freed the drive up

to 8.6gb free.



I opened finder and Info, and watched the drive and it is counting

down my free space. It updates every 30 seconds or so.



Presently, I am down to 8.2gb free space.



Has anyone seen anything like this?

    Hi Rick

    are you running final cut pro or techtool pro 4?
