I doubt we'll get much better than this.

on the CLG dealer site they say that there will be a new mobo and the chips will be appolo. This new line is supposed to be call the G4+ line.

It's seems that less and less people think that there will be the release of the G5 soon. Personnaly i think that they will appear for MWNY.

I would love to see GeForce 3's across the board. Superdrives as well.

    Here you go:

    933, 1.13 GHZ, 1 GHZ dual

    256, 256, 512 ram

    60, 80, 100 HD's

Ge Force 3 on all models

    Superdrives on all models

    1699.00, 2299.00, 2999.00

Yeah, it's about time. Now that there's a Superdrive on the iMac, it should at least be an option on the low end G4 tower. Also, it's about time the G4's had a GeForce 3 standard.

Hmm, the specs seem very close to this.

Hmm. I think this is the first time I've seen word that the prices will be a bit lower ($3000 for the dualie instead of $3500), which might make it a bit easier to swallow.

But I'm still not too keen on no DDR.

The "Three USB ports" jumps out at me. Is that three on the machine itself, like the new iMac? That would signal at least a minor revision to the motherboard, which would imply that DDR isn't right around the corner. Also making it a bit easier to swallow, as long as I shield my eyes from the PC world.
