The other victim of September 11th......the one that has been completely ignored

And of course, I'm talking about the career of Scapegoat Wax.

Ah-ha! You almost forgot about them, didn't you!

The band who had a minor "hit" with their crappy song "Hello Allison" saw their single replaced with 50,000 airings of U2 songs during the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11th. When the dust settled and radio and music video channels went back to their usual programming.......Scapegoat Wax was gone!

For a while, it seemed as if we would be forced to listen to what seemed like the retarded brothers of the members of Smash Mouth over and over again for months on end.

But it was not to be so.

How many bands will be able to go on Behind The Music and blame their downturn not on their lack of talent or bad managment, but on lax airport security?

Take that, MC Hammer.

In other news, the singer for the dance duo La Bouche died in a plane crash over the weekend. She was promoting her new solo album. And I lie to you not...

It is titled Ready To Fly.
