Does anyone know of a sigmoid transfer function that approximates 1/(1+e^-x) that doesn't use exponents. In the language I am using I am limited to addition subtraction multiplication and division. I saw the function a few days ago but I can't remember it and I don't remember what it was.Any information would be appreciated.
