Alethiometer, and technology, and spoiled
Here is something to think about, I think. When I was watching The Golden Compass I thought how cool the Alethiometer was. It dawned on me tho, that we live in a crazy world. Here is this world (fictional) but none the less, where there is technology and magic, but there is this one special device that tells the truth.
My issue that we live in a crazy world is that on earth everyone has an Alethiometer of sorts. When I look at my MacBook, or even an iPhone. We have this precious little device that we can type in google a question and pretty much get an answer, almost about anything. That is sick.
The reason I mentioned this is because I was watching the Dallas vs 49ers preseason game, and in the stands almost every fan has a $50 jersey. That is sick. (50,000 fans $2.5 mll, not to mention other teams fans too)
I think were are lucky and spoiled right now as we live on earth. I am thankful. But man...
