Weird iTunes Question

Okay so for the longest time I have been trying to figure out what a specific feature in iTunes is called. Look at the screen shots below for the example.



Before:



In this picture you will see the columns are not real close to each other.



After:



But then in this picture, after double clicking at the top of the column (circled in red) the columns fit tightly around the ID3 tag and look nice and clean.



Does anyone know the proper name for this? And if so, is it possible to create a script to automatically do this action for each playlist in iTunes?

    Column width... resize... thingy. Okay, I don't know what it is called, but you can drag it left and right in addition to double-clicking it, too.

    You can also right-click a column heading and select "Auto Size Column" or "Auto Size All Column" which will do what you want.

    This helps a little, thank you but is there a way to automatically create a script or Automator task to do this for all the playlists?
