Genius Mixes - iPhone 3.1

I wanted to check in here to see if any one else has had this problem or if they can recreate it. I noticed today that while playing a Genius created mix, iTunes 9 that doing a universal search for a new song, it will not play while the Genius mix is active. I've listed my steps:



1) iTunes Genius created mix playing

2) Exit iPod app while music is playing

3) Swip to universal search (not searching with in the iPod app)

4) Locate song which comes up in universal search

5) Touch to play new song.



The new song will not play but the Genius playlist restarts from the first song.



Using iPhone 3GS, 2009 Mac mini and iTunes 9

I just followed your same steps, but the new song did play. Sorry. (iPhone 3GS here)
