help!!! iphone home button doesnt work!

okay i have the first generation iphones which means its pretty much impossible to send it off as a warranty check...or we



anyways....recently my home button has stoppped working so every time i want to switch applications i have to restart which makes it really hard to mulitask on the iphone...





please help since i dont want to buy a new one!!!

    Sorry to hear about your problem and I don't have a solution except to take it in to an Apple store and see what they say. Maybe it is software related and a restore would help, but I don't know.



    But I will share that just before I got my 3GS, the only problem that I was having with my original iPhone is that the Home button had to be pressed harder than usual or sometimes even twice to get it to respond. And the Lock button had to be pressed extremely hard in order to get it to lock. So the physical buttons were causing me a problem towards the end.
