Ive got and apple i Mac M5521 G4 and it has no OS installed and loads to a screen with a small folder and flashing question mark. Does anyone know what the next step would be to install an OS. Many Thanks
Get some discs... either the original system retore DVD that came with the machine, or a retail DVD of Leopard, Tiger, (whatever version of OSX you want... though Snow Leopard won't work on that machine.)
Stick that DVD in the drive and then start-up the machine while holding down the "c" key. Once it starts, it'll walk you through the process of installing that OS.
