HTPC Mac Mini?

Can anyone point me to a decent overscan software for the nVidia cards in the current Mac line? I'm thinking of replacing one of my few remaining Window machines with Mac Mini, but I can't do so unless there is an easy way to tweak the overscan settings for my HDTV.



On a Windows machine, the nVidia drivers come with built in overscan support, allow you to move few sliders and you're off an running. I haven't seen anything similar on the Mac side.



Are there any custom nVidia drivers that enable this functionality, or even a third party app that isn't overly complex to get working?

    As a Mac Mini is a Mac I'll bet it's as simple as plugging the right connector into the right port. No tweaking necessary. Self-adjusting.

    Try the following software:

    If you reach a point where you set one of the display settings wrong and you get a blank screen, you should be prepared to boot up using the terminal and remove a preference file.

    The first one looks like it has promise. I'll check it out.

    Nope. It's not that easy.

    Many HDMI TV's won't work perfectly with the stock video settings available through OSX. DisplayConfigX has worked to make the picture fit perfectly for me.

    Agreed. I've never had a signal via HDMI/DVI to a TV fit properly. They always require tweaking for overscan unless your TV supports turning overscan off, which I've heard of, but never encountered unfortunately.
