iMac G4 M5521 intsall from Memory Stick

Im trying to install an Opertaing System onto my iMac form a memory stick, I hold alt down as the computer load which takes me to a screen with 2 icons, one is like and undo icon the other is an arrow. I have tried clicking both and nothing seems to happen. Does anyone know what the next step to take is. Thanks in advance.

    I don't believe you can boot from a USB drive on that machine... so... it won't work.

    You need a bootable disk (image) to boot up from. Looks like your USB drive does not contain a bootable disk (image). So, like King says: it won't work.
