Why does the "Buy Now" page for the iMac go to a UK Store?

I clicked on the "Buy Now" just to see what would happen and it takes you here:

    I'm pretty sure it was just an error. I just tried to duplicate this by going to apple.com and navigating to it and it took me to the US Apple Store.



    They aren't trying to make extra money by having you order from the UK site.



    That's a ridiculous notion.

    That's why it was a joke on the fact the UK prices are higher than the US ones vs the exchange rate (even after considering tax).
