Who just bought an iMac? Post specs!

I just ordered one from MacConnection. The AI Price Guide is wrong: it's $1849 after the $100 rebate.



My new iMac: Stock 27" Core i5 configuration. This is almost everything I could have hoped for in an iMac, and as most AI'ers know, I do love iMacs.



I was really tempted to go for the i7 upgrade, but I don't think the benefits will be very observable on the iMac.



I will post photos when it comes. I don't think Apple has even shipped them to distributors yet, because it says "call for availability" in the invoice. I have some sweet desktop speakers ready to round out the setup.

    Went thru Apple Store after realizing you can't configure iMacs at the retail store. I ordered the iMac 27" quad core with 2TB. I also ordered the vesa mount to wall mount the system. This system should last for a few years.
