Top end iMac or bottom end Mac Pro
It looks to me like the top end iMac with the i7 cpu is basically the same or even slightly better than the bottom end Mac Pro.
iMac 2.8ghz Mac Pro 2.66ghz
iMac 4GB Mac Pro 3GB RAM
iMac 1TB HD Mac Pro 750GB HD
The gfx card seems to be better on the iMac too, but I'm not sure which one is better, the Nvidia or the ATI.
It seems like for someone that was looking into buying the bottom end Mac Pro, the iMac is the better deal. It's slightly cheaper and includes a kickass monitor.
Besides the the expandability of the Mac Pros form factor is there anything that I am missing on this comparison?

The iMac is a great buy if you know you need a monitor as well and don't mind external storage and the included GPU.
Having the whole shebang with Core i7 in a 2300 dollar package ain't too shabby. I think the 27" iMac is going to retain a lot of it's value because of the stellar display.
