Parallels Desktop 5 is out! Well, sort of.
This is going to sound a little strange. I bought a boxed copy of Parallels Desktop 5 last Friday (at MacMall in Santa Monica, CA), installed it and everything's gravy. Except it doesn't seem to exist in Parallel's eyes. I tried posting this fact on their forums (mainly to question why it hasn't been announced yet), and it was blocked. I tried emailing them to ask about it, and still haven't got a reply.
It isn't listed on Amazon or any software sites, at least from what I can tell. No news sites have posted about it. It's just...out there?
Has anyone else found a copy? Or has any questions I can answer? Even better, anyone know why Parallels seems to be keeping this quiet?
Oh, it seems pretty nice so far. Much quicker than 4 on my 13-inch Macbook pro. And I can run some simple L4D maps created in Hammer in coherence mode, which is pretty amazing.
And pictures of the box:

Well, if it doesn't exist it's literally nothing of course. You could let us have a copy of nothing for 10 bucks a shot...? You would clean up and you wouldn't be breaching any EULAs, as they don't exist either...
