Applecare doesn't cover accidental damage so I'm kind of on my own with this one. It's not too bad but I dropped it from a couple feet on a tile floor and it landed flat on the top side. So now there is a decent dent on the flat left hand side of the lid. There any ideas about how to pull the dent out a bit without damaging the lcd screen or something?

Maybe those guys that do mobile ding repairs on car doors would take it on. They usually charge $99 a pop, but it always looks great when they're finished. Just a thought. Take care!

Ask Apple how much would it cost if you'd pay them.

Since it is a unibody they said they would have to replace the entire top which would run me around six to seven hundred dollars.

I wouldn't mess with it. If it wasn't the screen, if it was the back or something, that's different. As it's the screen and it's so delicate, I'd say just leave it be.
