Snow Leopard on a 1st Gen. Macbook Pro

As the headline states, I have a 1.83Ghz MBP with 2GB RAM. I know it is not 64bit (damn it), but I would like to know if anyone else with a 1st gen. has installed SL and if there any noticeable gains, besides the HD space reduction. Is it worth it?? My only real concern is that I have Adobe CS3 and I have read different things with that as far as issues. If it won't run that without crashing it or otherwise making it unusable, it's a "no go" for me. I am running 10.5.8 and have had no problems but eventually plan on making the jump if it is worth it. Thanks in advance.

I have a 1st gen MBP with SL installed. I haven't noticed a speed bump, but considering it came with Tiger installed on it, I haven't noticed any slowdown either, now two OS versions later.

    I'm very happy with it.
