Marketing Strategy & Analysis Report on Apple - Need help!
Firstly, I'm a full time student in college and I'm doing a Marketing Analysis & Strategy Report on Apple and the iPod. I will be focusing on the impact and influence the iPod had in the renaissance of Apple and its return to glory. As a part of my paper, I need to research the business objectives and Apple's mission statement, preferrably a timeline of them actually. I've researched it but I can't find anything reliable. Can anyone help?

At this time, it is not clear what the legacy of the iPhone will be when the mobile Internet begins to take over. It could be the App Store will continue to be popular because it does offer a great business model for advertisers as well as developers. But it is just as likely that the increased competition combined with better bandwidth for mobile devices and new generations of mobile communications will cause the App Store to become a dinosaur in the market

The "renaissance of Apple and its return to glory"... huh? As if Apple was in the pits...? No way!
When the iPod was launched Apple had just had the most successful years in over a decade with the fruit-colored iMacs! So "renaissance" and "return to glory" are hardly applicable.
If you're doing a 'perspective on Apple' you had better get your facts right, kdenn.

Umm if you get your facts right and do the research, you'll learn that Apple's sales declined nearly 25% the year the iPod was released, but consider the iPod's release was in late 2001. Apple was not exactly thriving at the time. The iPod eventually catapulted Apple into mainstream markets of numerous industries and the company used the iPod's success to strengthen their other product lines. Apple did not have a firm grip in the computer market. The iPod transformed Apple in a sense. The iPod age of Apple completely overshadows what Apple used to be. In that sense, the iPod spurred a renaissance. That is my reasoning. So unless you're going to help, why don't you keep your mouth shut.

Do you really expect to get any help with that attitude?
