Hello,

I bought a new ipod for my daughter for Christmas as her old ipod is failing. Do I need to do anything special when I add her new ipod to her macbook and itunes (she won't be using the old ipod when she has the new one).

Will I need to remove the old one on her macbook? I'm hoping that her new 16 GB ipod will be plug and play.

Thank you for any and all replies.

Plug and play. Just plug it in, and iTunes will ask you if you want to sync the new iPod, warning you that anything on the iPod will be replaced, and you just say "yes".
