He said on MSNBC that the U.S. troops should pull out of Afganistan and replace them with Canadian troops...saying something to the effect...



"Who cares about Canadians? There after us, not them"....ouch.

    Pat is colorful and more than a little out of the mainstream (see how polite I can be when I work at it?) but the second part of that comment is true.

    Ok, ok, ok as I indicated it was something to that effect...enough for me to sput my coffee out this morning. Since it was a clip from a TV interview I can't pin it down...much less capture it and post it as a Quicktime movie pal...jeez.

    I'm not sure what the public opinion is in Afghanistan, but America probably means the US and anyone assisting it.

    I think Pat is a bit offf these days. But in the past I have heard him say stuff that on first pass sounded very racist but when thought over was just very anti Chinese government. Which isn't a bad thing.

    I don't mind ol' Pat. in my old age i'm starting to realize mabe the world needs people like that just to keep the rest of us from taking ourselves so seriously.
