Cloned HDD...does it also clone securely deleted files and regularly deleted files?

    No, it only copies active files. They usually avoid copying temporary cache files too. The storage allocation is different too, which is why it's one way you can defrag your drive. You can clone to a drive, format your internal and clone back and when it clones back, it will use contiguous allocation blocks - pretty much a 100% defrag in about 40 minutes (depending on storage used).

    If the cloning software advertises itself as "forensic", then it should perfectly copy the disc, imperfections in data and all.
