Unable to change router settings

hey,



I have a linksys WRT-54GS, and am unable to change the settings for it. recently my internet has been very slow, and I've wanted to forward my ports, however I can't because whenever I type my IP address into safari it doesn't bring up a dialogue box like it should asking me for my password, it does a search of the address as if it were a website. I'd really appreciate some help with this, my internet has been very slow lately and I'd like to reset my settings. I've already tried power cycling both my router and my dsl modem but to no avail.



I'm running OSX 10.5.8 with safari 4.0.4

    Try reseting your router. There is a recessed reset button on the back of it. Use a paper clip and hold in the button for a 10 or so seconds. The router will restore the factory settings and original IP
